Introduction: malnutrition is still a problem in Indonesia. The general objective of this study was to determine the effect health education media (video and print media) on parents' knowledge, attitudes skills regarding nutrition before after intervention. Methods: quasi-experimental research design, sample parents who have preschool age children with total 60 respondents (30 people intervention group 30 control group); independent variables: parental characteristics child characteristics, dependent variable: skills; instruments were form demographic data questionnaires about attitudes, elderly, analysis tests using univariate (frequency distribution) bivariate (t tests). results showed that there an increase children. Conclusion: can children, although not significantly. Implication: be used alternative
